Presbyterian Women

Our congregation has an active group who is part of the Presbyterian Women USA.,
an integral part of the life of our church.

Our purpose is:

Forgiven and freed by God in Jesus Christ,
And empowered by the Holy Spirit, we commit ourselves:
To nurture our faith through prayer and bible study
To support the mission of the church worldwide,
To work for justice and peace, and
To build an inclusive, caring community of women
That strengthens the Presbyterian Church, USA
And witnesses to the promise of God's kingdom.

We have three circles who meet monthly, September through June, for bible study, prayer, and good relationships. Additionally, we meet three times in the evening during the year for programs to enrich our lives and to share a meal. The highlight of our year is a retreat in May at Wildwood Crest which enables us to spend time with our God and each other.

We gather funds for mission purposes both here and worldwide. Our lives have been greatly enriched by all activities and service to the Lord who loves, guides, and protects us.
